Aeroflot at a loss for fuel cost rise
Moscow, Russia - Profits down of about 13% in the first nine months of 2005
In the first nine months of the 2005 the Russian carrier Aeroflot has registered a loss in the net profits of about 13% because of the fuel cost rise. Earnings fell from USD 237 million to USD 207 million, but revenues rose to USD 1,67 billion. "On the whole we consider 2005 a successful year", said Mikhail Poluboyarinov, Deputy General Director for finance and planning of the Russian flag carrier....
