Qantas hit by post September 11th crisis

Sidney, Australia - Net incomes: -41,6% in 2001 2nd semester

Qantas, the Australian airline, registered a 41,6% net incomes fall in the second semester of 2001. The Australian air carrier seems to pay for last September 11th terrorist attacks, in fact, as Qantas president, Margaret Jackson, stated herself, "last 2001 six months have been the worst ever in aviation history".
