Washington, USA - The carrier tripled the profits respect the same period of the 2005
Alaska Air closed positively 2006 second quarter. The carrier registered in this period a profit of USD 55.5 million, tripled respect the same period of the 2005. The revenue rose to USD 873 million, while the passengers increased of 7.2%, respect a capacity increase of 5.2%. Among the costs the most important is fuel ones for which in the second quarter of 2006 Alaska Air payed USD 199.8 million.
