Now the final approval of the European Commission to proceed with the closing of the operation

The Mef (Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance) communicates in a short note that "The agreements included among the corrective measures presented with reference to the concentration operation that provides for the entry of Deutsche Lufthansa into the capital of ITA Airways, as foreseen in the decision of the European Commission of 3 July 2024, have been sent to the Directorate-General for Competition of the European Commission.

We confidently await the final approval of the European Commission to proceed with the closing of the operation. The expected economic conditions have not undergone changes compared to the agreement already signed".
