The entry into service of the new A-350 aircraft of Emirates, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has been postponed. The extension of the entry into the fleet of new planes is due to delays in deliveries by the European aircraft manufacturer. The launch of its services with the new fixed-wing units will therefore be postponed from September to November.

It was revealed by the economic news agency "Bloomberg", according to which the new planes will be destined to operate flights between the Arabian peninsula and some of the main airports of the Old continent: initially Edinburgh (United Kingdom), but also towards destinations in the Middle East such as Bahrain and Kuwait; then from 2025 flights will be added to Mumbai (India), Muscat (Oman) and Lyon (France).

The A-350 aircraft made its first flight on 14 June 2013 and entered service in January 2015. It is a type of aircraft designed to operate on long-haul routes and characterized by a wide-body configuration. These planes, depending on the configuration, can accommodate from 300 to 410 passengers.
