JAL TO PLAN NEW INVESTMENTS

TOKYO, Japan Airlines will invest 430 billion yen ($3.57 billion) in the next three years in new aircraft and information technology. Isao Kaneko, JAL president, said "our international cargo operations look set to decrease a bit, but the number of international travellers looks set to increase nine per cent from the previous year".
