RUSSIA TO SELL ARMS TO IRAN
MOSCOW, Russian President Vladimir Putin said, after talks with Iranian President Mohammad Khatami, that Moscow is to sell defensive weapons to Iran as a part of a military cooperation agreement that was signed today. Iran should receive missiles, fighters and helicopters from Russia, despite United States opposed the arms sales.
