KOREA RISES TOKYO SEAT CAPACITY

SOUTH KOREA, The Korean Ministry of Construction and Transportation said in a statement that the national carrier will increase its passenger seat capacity on the Seoul-Tokyo route to meet rising demand. Korean Air will offer eight weekly flights on the route with 384-seat Boeing 747 aircraft starting today, replacing 299-seat Boeing 777 planes: that will add 680 seats a week on a one-way basis.
