LAST MC DONNEL DOUGLAS NAMED PLANE DELIVERED

WASHINGTON, The last plane built under Mc Donnel Douglas name was delivered yesterday to Lufhtansa. The MD-11 plane will be included in the german airlines fleet. Boeing abandoned future production of the MD-11 after acquiring McDonnell Douglas in 1997 and changed the name of the twin-engine MD-95 aircraft to the Boeing 717.
