US UNION LEADERS TO OPPOSE ATC PRIVATIZATION

USA, Leaders of the 32 US major transportation unions unanimously adopted a statement urging Congress and President Bush to oppose privatization proposals because they would disrupt air traffic control (ATC) modernization efforts and threaten the safety of the airspace system "selling off our ATC system to the lowest bidder".
