EMERGENCY LANDING FOR A SRI LANKAN AIRLINES AIRBUS
COLOMBO, SRI LANKA, The Airbus A340 was carrying 310 passengers and was bound to London. The plane made an emergency landing at Colombo after one of its wheels burst on take off. Air traffic controllers in the Sri Lankan capital ordered the plane to return after tyre debris were found on the runway. The Airbus landed safely and passengers were embarked on another aircraft.
