BOEING TO EXPECT NEW 747X FIRST ORDERS IN 2001

FRANKFURT, Walter Orlowski, Boeing's vice president, added in a press conference in Frankfurt that the new super jumbo 747X is going to be the Seattle industry's answer to Airbus A3800 and it should be delivered in 2005. The new plane, in the 747X Stretch version can carry up to 522 passengers.
