Russia: launch of the “SAR-Lupe” German satellite

Moscow, Russia - For the first time the Russian government cooperates with the German Defense Ministry

Yesterday, “RIA Novosti” Russian press agency announced the launch of the “SAR-Lupe” German military satellite from the Plesetsk cosmodrome, in the Arcangelo Siberian Region. “It is the first time that Russia launches a satellite on behalf on German Defense Ministry”: the Russian spokesman, Alexei Kuznetsov affirmed it. The “SAR-Lupe” satellite was put in orbit from the Cosmos-3M carrier.
