Etna (2): Catania airport is closed tonight

Catania, Italy - As a contingency procedure

The Crisis Unity at Catania-Fontanarossa airport decided the closing for today as well after sunset (6pm local time). The decision comes from contingency procedures that aim to warrant air navigation safety against the volcanic activity that has been occurring for few days. The airport will open tomorrow morning at 7am.
