Boeing delivers first upgrade NATO AWACS aircraft

Munich, Germany - The upgrade of the whole fleet will be realized within 2008

NATO has received first specimen of AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System) put before Mid-term Modernization Programme, for a value of USD 1,32 billion and sees EADS as partner Boeing and prime-contractor of the program.
