Tiger Airways chooses IAE engines for its A-320s

Singapore, Singapore - For the eight ordered airplanes

Tiger Airways announced it chose International Aero Engines (IAE) V2500-A5 engines for its eight A-320 aircraft that were ordered last month. Pratt & Whitney, one of the four members of IAE consortium, said that its share in the contract is worth USD 100m. The contract also plans a technical assistance agreement concerning also the six A-320 airplanes' engines currently in service in Tiger Airways...
