NORTHWEST ORDERS PRATT&WHITNEY ENGINES
EAST HARTFORD, The airline ordered Pratt&Whitney PW2000 and PW4000 engines for 46 new aircraft, 24 Airbus Industrie A330-300s, 20 Boeing 757-200s and-300s, two Boeing 747-400s. The planes will be delivered between 2002 and 2006. The deal worth $1 billion. The aircrafts will serve transatlantic routes.
