British Airways issues RFP for long-haul fleet renewal
London, United Kingdom - It will replace 114 aircraft

British Airways yesterday took the first step in its long-awaited long-haul fleet renewal. It currently has 114 long-haul aircraft out of a total fleet of 284. The first aircraft scheduled for replacement are 20 Boeing 747s and 14 B-767s, which will be approximately 25 years old by the time the new types arrive.
