Alitalia (2): Italian-Arab concert party offers USD 1,5bn to purchase the carrier

Rome, Italy - A strategic alliance with an Arab carrier such as Emirates has been supposed

Matteo Corsini, a Roman real estate businessman, does not seem to give in, as he appears willing to purchase Alitalia together with a not so clear concert party consisting of Italian and Arab enterprisers. In fact, an offer would have been put forward to carrier's directors, promoted by Corsini himself together with the major representative of such foreign group David Jackson, even for about USD 1,5bn....
