MILITARY PLANE MISSING IN NEW GUINEA
INDONESIA, The indonesian plane, a CASA 235 aircraft carrying nine crew and passengers, including senior army and police chiefs, went missed over dense jungle in Irian Jaya province, in New Guinea. The plane was on an flight north to the provincial capital, Jayapura. Air traffic controllers lost radio contact with the plane about 12 minutes after take-off.
