International air traffic increased in 2003

Rome, Italy - It improves in North America and in Europe while difficulties can still be registered in Asia due to SARS

Last data related to international air traffic appear particularly encouraging. Number of passengers involved by this general improvement of air transport sector would be of some 3,5bn during 2003. At the top of the table appears to be North American market, with a share of about 38% compared with Europe, which is second in the table with some 27%.
