Alitalia, saved from the risk of bankruptcy by an Union government agreement, renew its Board of Directors. The Italian government has chosen Mr Giancarlo Cimoli, 65 years old, Tuscan, the President and CEO of Italian railway company, to bring Alitalia at the same level of other European carriers.
