New French-Russian telecommunication satellite launched from Baykonur

Baykonur, Kazakhstan – It will deliver telephone, digital television and broad band internet

The Express-AM11 satellite has been launched by a Proton-K rocket with DM-01 booster at 20:37 GMT Monday and placed into orbit at 03:10 GMT at 96.5 degrees longitude East.
