War residual removed at Catania airport

Catania, Italia – WWII bomb

This morning a WWII bomb, found yesterday at Fontanarossa airport of Catania from a worker; has been removed by Army experts came from Palermo. The bomb was twenty kilogramms heavy. The operation took 30 minutes with no inconvenients for air traffic. The war residual finding occurred in a remote zone of the airport close fuel storage area while two workers were posing a couple of tubes.
