Etihad selects the Trent engine for its Airbus A-330s

Dubai, UAE - Such Middle Eastern carrier is increasing

Etihad, the UAE’s carrier founded last year (see for details AVIONEWS), has decided to select the Rolls Royce Trent 700 engines as the new powerplant for its new Airbus A-330-200 airlines. Two of these airplanes will be delivered by 2005. This carrier has scheduled to achieve some 16 destinations by the end of 2004, by purchasing new aircraft.
