Italy's Government action in aid of air transport sector will cost EUR 200m

Rome, Italy - Meanwhile, competing carriers protest against "illegitimate" aid

Italian Minister for UE Policies, Rocco Buttiglione, said that the Government action in aid of the air transport sector will amount to EUR 200m (USD 238m), this year's amount being somewhere around 120m. European competing air companies, especially Lufthansa and British Airways, have already announced that they will apply to the EU against governmental funds appropriated against the Community's regulations...
