CRIME IS SOARING AT N.Y. AIRPORTS

NEW YORK, Bad weather isn't the only headache for the Port Authority this winter - new statistics show crime is way up at New York City's two airports. At Kennedy, crime jumped 23 percent in 2000 compared to the previous year, and La Guardia posted an increase of nearly 12 percent, according to figures obtained by The Post. At the top of the list there are grand larcenies and auto thefts.
