Exceptional security measures in Rome during Easter period (2): flight prohibition and CAP missions

Rome, Italy - Small airplanes will not be allowed to overfly the capital and there will be a constant patrolling by Italian Air Force fighters

Capital air space will be involved in an extended flight prohibition compared with normal procedures concerning small airplanes during Easter period. Italian Air Force make know such prohibition refers to a ceiling up to 6500 m. Moreover, some interceptors will patrol Rome's skies during scheduled periods in Combat Air Patrol (CAP) missions, and others will be ready for scramble in case of necessity...
