Florence: 15 flights cancelled due to strike

Florence, Italy - Employees of the managing company Adf are protesting

A few days after its reopening following runway restoration works (see AVIONEWS), the Florence airport is blocked today due to a strike involving the workers of Adf, managing company for the airport, for issues regarding working times and shifts, contracts and redundancies. 15 flights, both arriving and departing, have been cancelled. The strike has started at 12.30pm and will last until 4.30pm today....
