Northwest Airlines: bomb scare yesterday on three flights

Washington, USA - Planes searched, but they were false alarms

Three Northwest Airlines jets were involved yesterday in as many bomb scares. Aircraft, baggages and passengers were searched and also dogs were used to retrieve explosives. In all three cases searches proved the alarm to be groundless. The flights involved were the Los Angeles-Detroit-Boston, the Memphis-Miami and the Miami-Detroit.
