Alitalia: board of directors to formalize today request of approval for 2003 air company accounts by mid May

Rome, Italy - By 15 May an agreement between the carrier and unions on the industrial plan must be reached

Alitalia's board of directors will meet this afternoon to formalize the carrier's request to Consob (Italian authority for the regulation of securities market) to approve 2003 company accounts by mid May. By 15 May, the flag airline and unions will have to find an agreement on the application of Alitalia's industrial plan.
