Rome, Italy - Fights between Italian airports may favour the European ones

Rome's Mayor, Walter Veltroni, stands for co-operation between Rome-Fiumicino and Milan-Malpensa airports. According to him, in fact, the fight between Italy's main airports conflicts with the idea of a national airport system, with the risk of being overpowered by other major European hubs, such as Frankfurt, Paris or London.
