Star explosion conjures up Van Gogh's painting
Washington, USA - Suggestive images from space taken by Hubble Space Telescope
Hubble Space Telescope sent the image of a star 20,000 light-years from Earth called V838 Monocerotis surrounded by a smoke and star dust halo, presumably due to an explosion. The star gave off the light pulse two years ago. The suggestive image has been compared to the Van Gogh's painting named 'Starry Night' painted in 1890.
