SP-32 Polar station is facing a difficult time, due to adverse environmental conditions caused by a terrible snowstorm and by ice splitting which determined the sinking for part of its infrastructures. Staff would have been saved on a not damaged side but air rescue operations would still be too difficult due to such storm.
