Petition versus Olympic Airlines

Washington, USA - Supreme Court gave green light for the 1988 accident in which an American doctor died

American Supreme Court gave green light for a petition versus Olympic Airlines charged of causing indirectly the death of one of its passengers. In January 1988, on a flight between Athens and San Francisco, flight attendants refused to reseat a doctor smoke allergic seated in a no-smoking area but not clear enough from the smoking area. The doctor, Abid M. Hanson, died onboard.
