Haifa, Israel - The Skylark weighs only 6 kg and can be launched by a shoulder-launcher tube
Rafael has successfully developed and tested a new model of UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), the Skylark. The peculiarity of such a plane consists in its small dimensions which make its taking off possible even from a shoulder-launcher tube. Its weight is in fact only 6 kg with a 1,5 m wingspan (by a post-launch snapping). The Skylark is able to act up 10 km from its launcher, flying for about an hour...
