Baikonur, Kazakhstan - It will cover Europe and Africa more efficiently
The Eutelsat telecommunication satellite W3A, assembled in the EADS Astrium laboratories in Toulouse, has been transferred to the Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan and is to be launched on next 16th March. The satellite, the largest in the Eutelsat family, will be positioned in geostationary orbit 7 degrees east and will replace the Eutelsat W3 satellite, which is currently transmitting from that position....
