Air France and KLM alliance: on Wednesday the decision of the EU Commission

Brussels, Belgium - Today the heads of the airlines have met commissioner Monti

On Wednesday the EU Commission will need to decide if to give the green light to the Air France and KLM merger. The Commission could take two different routes: to approve the merger; or to open up a deeper 4 month investigation to check the possible agreement effects on the market and therefore on the rules on competition. The news that EU Commission was about to decided was already issued last week....
