Apparently EU asks Italy to stop the purchase of Agusta helicopters without a previous call for bids

Brussels, Belgium - The request in a EU Commission's note

According to what has been diffused by Agi - an Italian press agency - the European Commission seems to have asked Italy, in a warranted advice, not to buy anymore Agusta helicopters without the previous issue of a call for bids. In fact, Italy seems to appoint directly Agusta "Without competition for the helicopters' supply which will be used by some branches of the Police Force". According to a note:...
