Air Berlin buys Flyniki shares, the new Lauda's carrier
Vienna, Austria - For 24%

As a some kind of rebound, Niki Lauda gave Air Berlin 24% share of his new airline Flyniki, created last November after that Lauda bought the majority of the stock capital of the German carrier Aero Lloyd’s Austrian section (see AVIONEWS). The ex-Formula One champion stated in a press release that the cooperation between the two carriers aims to conquer the Austrian and Eastern-European market.
