Tongan Airlines needs US$10 million
RTA lost twice the budget last year
The national carrier in Tonga, Royal Tongan Airlines (RTA) needs be helped by the Tonga Government who must give nearly US$10 million to cover the losses from last financial year. Because of the difficulties, the RTA appeal to a Financial Advisory Services in Fiji to review the company's financial position, and found that the airline had lost more than double its budget in one year.
