Berlin, Germany - The union disapproves
The Financial Times Deutschland reported that Lufthansa wants to reduce costs of EUR 1,2bn over the next two years, but the plans are not approved by the union. A Lufthansa spokeswoman stated: "In order to secure profitable growth and employment, in this moment a cost reduction of EUR 1,2bn is necessary from here in the next two years". She added that no concrete cost-saving programme has been decided...
