Staff reduction for Lufthansa

Frankfurt, Germany - 2 thousand people will lose their job in 2004

Referring to what has been declared today by a spokesperson for Lufthansa in an article of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, 2 thousand people will be dismissed in the year 2004. The most dramatically hit sector will be the catering, where 1 thousand job cuts are foreseen. Other sectors at risk are: services (500-600 jobs), logistics (about 200) and cargo (100 jobs).
