Grosseto, Italy - The air base is the first one to activates the European Fighter plane program
The Grosseto air base is about to renew its aircraft dotation with the arrival, by the end of the year, of 3 new Eurofighter "Typhoon" (or EFA 2000). It is a multipurpose fighter plane that can be refuelled while flying that will replace the old F-104S.
