GREECE: TWO CONTROLLERS SENTENCED TO JAIL

THESSALONIKI, GREECE, The two controllers, convicted of negligent manslaughter, received five-year prison terms for failing to properly aid an Ukrainian jet in 1997 that crashed into a mountain killing all the 74 people on board. The pilots of the plane attempted to land at Thessaloniki airport but made a wrong turn and the plane crashed.
