On August 23 an Iranian plane was forced to an emergency landing because of a fire in the cabin. The aircraft, a Fokker 100 flying from Shiraz to Mahshahr, in the Khizistan south-west province south-west, landed at Ahvaz airport 40 minutes after the take-off.
