CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, The region's first big storm of the season paralyzed Chicago and its 2 airports, O'Hara and Midway, saw 75 percent of their operations grounded: United Airlines had canceled 363 of 434 scheduled departures and American Airlines canceled nearly 550 of its 700 departures and arrivals. Flights canceled in Detroit and Milwaukee's airports too.
