LUFTHANSA TO BID FOR THAI STAKE

FRANKFURT, The thai government, owning 93% of Thai Airways, want to reduce its stake by selling 23%. Lufthansa will bid for a minority stake hoping this way to keep Thai in the Star Alliance after it threatened to leave when rival Singapore Airlines joined up.
