Northwest Airlines presents its first A-330/300 to the media
Detroit, Usa - The new Airbus will replace DC-10s

Northwest Airlines will roll its first Airbus A-330/300 out for the media today at Detroit Metro Airport, its largest hub. Northwest is buying 24 of the wide-body, twin-engine jets between now and 2008: ten will be A-330/200s that can seat 243 passengers and 14 will be the larger A-330/300s, which can seat 298 passengers.
