GERMANY: WOMEN TO TAKE PART IN WARFARE

BERLIN, The law was approved by the Bundesrat, the german Upper House, last friday. It will allow female soldiers to take part in warfare and therefore use arms. Women should be able to join all military corps of german army from next year, but military service will be compulsory only for men.
